The mobiliser is an extremely powerful spinal joint mobilisation system, which is usually very effective at decreasing the symptoms of long term and chronic musculo-skeletal problems.

The system applies very localised pressure to the muscles either side of the spine, while also applying a bending force to the vertebrae. Whilst this is initially uncomfortable for most and painful for some, the majority of users find that their symptoms abate quite quickly.

It has been used by thousands of people to tackle conditions such as, lower back pain; prolapse /slipped disc; sciatica; scoliosis, arthritic hips, scro-illiac dysfunction, whiplash injuries; fibromyalgia and many other disabling conditions.

The mobiliser is comprehensively tested and endorsed by medics, so that it is probably the most commended back care system available. Unfortunately it is expensive to buy so we offer a hire service and a delayed purchase scheme, which enable sufferers to use the mobiliser at home at an affordable level.

Sally Gunnell, OBE Olympic Gold Medalist & World Record Holder 400m Hurdles says: “The mobiliser certainly kept my lower back in one piece during race training, it also really helped tackle my tight calves and hamstrings. After the race it was a God send. I used it to recover and my back is still in really good shape.”

Thanks to constant internet surfing, middle-aged women are suffering the symptoms of chronic backache now, researchers believe – women aged 35 to 50, spend most time on social networking sites facebook and twitter, a Deep Heat poll found. 78 per cent are in agony because they spend too long sitting at a desk at work or on the Net. Of those nearly one in five – 18 per cent – endures backache every day. A third admitted they were in pain every few days and nearly a quarter between once a week and once a month. And almost half – 44 per cent – could not walk easily. A smaller number – 15 per cent – could not go out socially or work.
Thanks to the Daily Express for publishing this story – the 78 per cent figure is astonishing, but does not surprise us! Why not try the amazing ‘Mobi’, a medical grade system to address the symptoms of back pain? There are lots of cost options at http://www.backinaction.co.uk/mobiliser-cost

Many adults suffer from back pain – but lying down for just 15 minutes, twice a day on this special, new machine could curb the back pain, head aches and poor posture commonly encountered by so many of us.

Backinaction is proud to launch its new, second generation “Mobiliser”, a medical-grade system providing spinal mobilisation that helps many back pain sufferers live healthy, active lives. The original ‘Mobi’ was co-developed by leading osteopath, Dr Anne Redgrave, and widely used by the RAF, NATO, the British Army, as well as many UK sports enthusiasts in the fields of golf, athletics, football and equestrianism.

The new ‘Mobi 2’ boasts a unique, percussion and kneading massage, which can be applied to the user’s buttocks and back, or buttocks and legs. It has the original ‘Mobi’ action of spinal mobilisation and localised pressure applied to spinal muscles, but with an additional massaging action. The combination allows users to

become more supple and mobile.

Athlete Sally Gunnell says the first generation Mobiliser machine kept her lower back ‘in one piece’ when training for the London marathon. “It helped tackle my tight calves and hamstrings,” she says. “My back is still in really good shape, and I use the Mobi a few times a week now.”

The Mobilisers are available to hire or buy, and are also available at many medical and sports-injury clinics. There are now over 40 Local Demo Points (LDP’s) in the UK where you can try the Mobiliser machines.

Mobiliser Roadshow 2010

The Backinaction Mobiliser Roadshow has been out in force across the country, meeting customers new and old that are interested in back health. The Mobiliser is our most prestigious product, not only because it beats long term back pain, but because every week we seem to have another celebrity devotee. Visit our calendar of events and join us throughout the year at our exhibitions. Since 2008, we’ve been regulars at equestrian events in particular, with many of the world’s top riders finding that the Mobi improves coordination and therefore riding. Coming up in July, we are proud to be attending Cartier International Polo, one of the most exclusive events in the equestrian social scene. Come and see us in the retail village and perhaps have a go at treading the divots; we hope our famous Mobiliser gains the royal seal of approval!

The Mobiliser

The Mobi, as it is affectionately known, is our hero product. Many sporting stars are fans, and the machine is validated and used by the Armed Forces; but what makes it so great for us is to see chronic back pain sufferers improving their day to day lives in ways they thought they’d never achieve. The medical-grade Mobiliser system provides spinal mobilisation that helps many back pain sufferers live healthy, active lives.

Sophie Lamb was in agony and was then hospitalised with disc prolapse; despite a cocktail of drugs, she still found herself unable to work. Sophie was scheduled for a spinal operation, but after hiring a Mobiliser, has been able to return to work and has cancelled her operation. Sophie says “The Mobi irons me out day and night, and I believe it has played a big part in my symptoms being greatly reduced”. Almost every user of the Mobiliser finds a massive uplift in overall vitality.

Former ME sufferer, Karen Roach from London, recently completed her second London marathon, a feat she credits in part to the Mobi. “Lying on the Mobiliser for 15 minutes relaxes me, motivates me, and I now feel I can get up and do anything”. This is a product we hold very close to our hearts, as many of the Backinaction staff have successfully used it to combat a variety of conditions. If you are one of the thousands of UK back pain sufferers we urge you to try the Mobiliser. It is the single most effective product we’ve found in 20 years. There are now 39 Local Demo Points in the UK where people can try the Mobiliser.

The Next Generation

Great news for customers who love the ‘spine bending’ action of the Mobiliser – but who want a strong massage as well. Our Mobi 2 adds a unique percussion and kneading massage, which can be applied to the buttocks and back, or buttocks and legs. The original ‘Mobi 1’ action is still in the Mobi 2, so there are far more options to tackle pain. Who chooses ‘Mobi 2’ over ‘Mobi 1’? Between 8-12% of customers choose Mobi 2. Typically people who overuse their muscles each day due to their occupation, or just those who need the Mobi 1’s bending action, but just love being massaged as well. The moving thumbs of the Mobi 2 give a wonderful, invigorating massage, Our Amersham, Marlow and Bristol stores have both for you to try.

A new study in the peer reviewed, UK scholarly journal, Clinical Rehabilitation, has found that spinal manipulation provides the best form of functional improvement in patients with chronic low back pain.

In the Italian study, which compared spinal manipulation with exercise and physiotherapy, pain recurrence and drug intake were also reduced when spinal mobilisation was used.

Healthy back retailer, backinaction.co.uk, supports these findings, having seen great success with its medical-grade massaging mattress, The Mobiliser. The machine provides spinal mobilisation, and is proven to restore movement to stiff joints and curb back pain. Sports personalities including athlete Sally Gunnell and rower Steve Redgrave are fans of the ‘Mobi’, which applies localised pressure to the muscles either side of the spine.

Information

The Clinical Rehabilitation study was performed at Italy’s Scientific Institute, and compared spinal manipulation with exercise and physiotherapy. Spinal manipulation was associated with higher functional improvement and long-term pain relief than group exercise (termed ‘back school’) or individual physiotherapy. Pain recurrences and drug intake were also reduced when spinal mobilisation was used.

There are now 39 Local Demo Points (LDP’s) in the UK where people can try the Mobiliser, supervised by a medic or sports specialist. A map at http://www.backinaction.co.uk/demopoint is updated weekly.
